World number one, Novak Djokovic Loses to Sam Querrey in Paris

 

 

In the biggest win of his career, Sam Querrey defeated this year's number one player, Novak Djokovic 0-6, 7-6 (5), 6-4.

Novak Djokovic collapsed to a three-set defeat by American Sam Querrey in the second round of the Paris Masters.

Querrey who was unseeded in the tournament, was ranking outside the top 100 this spring, although he has recenlty brought his ranking up to be inside the top 20. 

Querrey started the match in poor form as Djokovic drilled accurate returns from both wings winning at love in the first set. But the momentum quickly changed in the second set, as Djokovic lost concentration. At that point, the American was elevate his game to pull off the amazing upset.
